What it is
Sits between an agent like Claude Code or Codex and your credentials: the agent calls APIs through a proxy that holds the secrets and enforces a policy, so a key never lands in its context or a log. The CLI and local proxy are open source and free; hosted secret projects and the remote proxy are billed per seat. It is young, with a fixed list of integrations, so check yours is on it before building a workflow around it.
